Health Status & Disease Monitoring Protocol

Boar Sources
All boars are presently only selected from herds that have IGP Certificate of Health Status.
To achieve IGP Certificate of Health Status, the herd must be monitored monthly and be found negative for:
PRRS
APP types 1,5,7
Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae
Progressive Atrophic Rhinitis
Mange & Lice
Swine Dysentery
PEI is believed to be negative for the TGE virus and the PRC virus.
